Westwood Winery, a hidden gem in northern Sonoma, had a big story to tell. Being biodynamic gives them an edge, but they wanted to express this in a premium, upscale style. No 'earthy' tones like every other biodynamic and organic wine. But neither did they want to be another high-end 'cream' label, with no sense of place. The answer was to communicate their prestigious location with a highly detailed, foiled and debossed map label design. It's a style that demands attention, amongst a competitive set all trying to 'out-earth' each other.
